Blue MountainPhysical Therapy & Orthotics

Thirty-two years, one patient at a time.

With over 30 years of experience, I have owned three clinics, all with the same philosophy of care. Blue Mountain is my third, and every visit here is one on one with me.

Where I started

I began my career in physical therapy in 1994, after earning a Bachelor of Physical Education at the University of Calgary (1989) and a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Alberta (1994). I earned my Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2025 at the University of Montana.

Sports medicine

My early career launched me into sports physical therapy, where I spent many years at a large sports medicine clinic specializing in orthopedic care. Our therapists worked collaboratively with on-site physicians, surgeons, and allied health professionals.

I treated athletes from the Calgary Flames Hockey Organization, the Canadian National Swim Team, the Great Britain Bobsleigh Association, Alberta Ballet, University of Calgary gymnastics, and many other amateur and elite athletes. One of the highlights of this time was being invited to be one of the team therapists for the Canadian National Swim Team at the Commonwealth Games held in Victoria, British Columbia, in 1994.

This provided a valuable foundation for developing my skills and shaped the philosophy of care that has defined my practices over the years.

Three clinics

I eventually moved into clinic ownership. Blue Mountain Physical Therapy and Orthotics LLC is my third practice. With each step in my career, one belief has remained constant. Good physical therapy takes time, attention, and a holistic understanding of each patient.

My goal is not simply to treat an injury or reduce pain. It is to guide you to move with greater confidence and return to the activities that make life meaningful. Whether that means getting back on the trail, enjoying time at the lake, returning to sport, or simply moving through your day more comfortably, your treatment is guided by what matters to you.

Out there

When I’m not at work, I love to get out there too. You will find me hiking, paddling, biking, and riding my horse in the wild places that are so important. I adore Montana and am so happy to be serving the Flathead Valley.
