Blue MountainPhysical Therapy & Orthotics

Physical therapy, wherever you are in Montana.

I see patients in the clinic in Bigfork and by secure video. Telehealth saves a long drive on winter roads, keeps your progress going between clinic visits, and brings care to patients who live far from town.

What works well by video

  • Follow-up visits between clinic appointments
  • Exercise check-ins and progressions
  • Recovery after total joint surgery
  • Nutrition conversations
  • A first conversation about whether physical therapy is right for you

02

How a video visit works

  1. 01Call, text or email to set a time.
  2. 02I send you a secure link. A phone, tablet or computer with a camera is all you need.
  3. 03Wear clothes you can move in and clear a little floor space.
  4. 04We talk, I watch you move, and we work through your program together.

Rural Montana

Ask me how telehealth reduces hospital readmission for rural Americans who have undergone total joint surgeries. For patients a long drive from Bigfork, video visits keep recovery on track between the times you can come in.

Questions

Good to know.

Do I need to come in first?

Some problems need hands-on care in the clinic, and I will tell you if yours does. Many follow-ups and exercise visits work well by video.

What do I need for a video visit?

A phone, tablet or computer with a camera and a quiet space where you can move.

Do I need a referral?

No. Montana allows direct access to physical therapy, so you can call me directly. It is always wise to check whether your specific insurance requires a physician referral for reimbursement.

How do I make an appointment?

Call or text (406) 871-1751, or email tami.ellis@protonmail.com. Tell me a little about what is going on and when you are free. Visits are by appointment only.
